Dear Mr. Landlord,

I'm requesting you to consider attaching an "addendum" to lease contract
of "The Variety Store" which specifically prohibits sales of identical items that
are sold at my store.

Even though my lease contract does not contain  "Non-compete Clause", it is
customary procedure to enforce by most commercial lease agreements.

Last several month, total sales at my store has declined dramatically
due to economic down turn and it is causing a significant impact to maintain
current lease as it is already.

By you admitting and granting lease contracts without 'non-compete"
addendum attached , it will only generates fierce competition which would not
be beneficial to neither stores.

You may have over looked this important issue , however it is not too late to
adjust and prevent possible future conflict of interest simply by granting
this request.

I would appreciate your prompt attention to this critical issue since timing
can be crucial.
